Is the free plan really free, or is it a trial?
It is free permanently. €0 per month, no credit card and no PayPal account, and no expiry date. You get 300 MB of RAM, 1 GB of storage, one server and one MySQL database, with CPU capped at 30%. The only condition is the anti-abuse policy: a server left offline for 3 days is suspended automatically.
What can I actually host on it?
Node.js, Python, PHP, Java, Bun, Rust, C# and static sites behind Nginx, plus a one-click WordPress install. A Discord bot in Node.js or Python fits comfortably in 300 MB of RAM and runs 24/7. Minecraft servers are available from €4 per month in Vanilla, Paper, Forge, Fabric, Spigot or BungeeCord.
How much do the paid plans cost?
Nano is €4 per month for 4 GB of RAM, 2 vCPU and 20 GB of storage. Mega is €8 for 8 GB, 3 vCPU and 50 GB. Giga is €16 for 16 GB, 4 vCPU and 100 GB. An extra server slot costs €1 per month. All are billed monthly and renew automatically until you cancel.
Where are the servers located?
In Paris, France, across two nodes. Each runs an Intel Xeon Gold 6138 with 10 cores and 20 threads, 48 GiB of DDR4 ECC memory and a 512 GB NVMe SSD, under Proxmox and Docker. Nothing is subcontracted to a third-party cloud and no workload leaves France.
What uptime do you actually measure?
99.9% over the last 30 days. That number is a rolling measurement published live on this page and on status.waifly.com, not a contractual guarantee. DDoS protection is included on every plan, free one included.
Do I get root access or an SSH shell?
No. Servers run as containers under a Pterodactyl panel rather than as full virtual machines, so there is no root account and no SSH shell. You do get a live console, a web file manager, SFTP for clients like FileZilla, MySQL databases, scheduled tasks and backups.
